 | News: Melonie Cannon and Willie Nelson'S 'Back to Earth' Single to Country Radio |

Nashville TN (01.13.09): Rural Rhythm Records President, Sam Passamano announced the new single, "Back to Earth" a duet with Melonie Cannon and Willie Nelson has been shipped to country radio stations via CDX and also available through Airplay Direct. The song appears on Melonie's current Rural Rhythm album, And The Wheels Turn.
Before "Back to Earth"'s official U.S. country single radio release, it was named by the popular The9513 country music blog as the #1 song of October 2008, with another track from the CD, Send A Little Love, (written by Ronnie Bowman and John Scott Sherrill) hitting the #7 spot. Today's Country Magazine calls "Back to Earth" "the standout track" on the album.
Rural Rhythm released "Back to Earth" in the U.K. sending the song to the #2 spot on the Hotdisc Most Popular Tracks Chart and with extremely favorable comments from radio including:
- Creative FM Radio (U.K.) "a faultless duet."
- Radio Sotra (Norway) "A brilliant song – period"
- BBC Radio in Shropshire (U.K.) "Melonie is superb - wonderful album."

And The Wheels Turn, produced by Buddy Cannon and Ronnie Bowman, has earned rave reviews from Media including Country Music and Dance Magazine calling the CD "Superb in every way," and Country Music Facts and News saying, "The production is impeccable and the songs are of the highest quality.
