News: Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out News

Music NewsBMNN wrote: on Nov. 03, 2009:
IIIrd Tyme OutRussell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out will take part in a special performance on Saturday, November 7th at the Lincoln Theatre in Marion, VA. The performance will be taped before a live audience and broadcast next year on PBS stations across the country. The concert starts at 7:00pm and will also include performances by Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper and Williams & Clark Expedition. Song of the Mountains is hosted by Tim White. For more information including directions and tickets, call 276-783-6092 or visit www.SongOfTheMountains.org.

Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out's latest self-titled release from Rural Rhythm Records continues to climb the charts and is now #2 on the Top 15 Bluegrass Albums chart for the month of November. And the first single from the CD, "Hard Rock Mountain Prison" has jumped to #2 on the National Bluegrass Survey! The band would like to thank you, The Fans, for making this happen! And with your continued support, both the CD and the single could take the #1 spot in December. Please call your DJs now and make your requests! And if you don't have your copy of the new CD yet, you can pick it up from the band at any live show or you may order it directly from them here. You may also order the CD through Rural Rhythm Records.

Russell Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out have released a total of 17 albums, including a Christmas Grass CD in 2007. For the premier of their latest CD, Russell Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out, the band held a contest for Father's Day in 2009, promoting the song "Me and Dad", in which one lucky winner was allowed to write a story about themselves and their Dad, and have that story read by Russell at one of their concerts.

The members of RM3TO, Russell Moore, Steve Dilling, Donnie Carver, Justen Haynes, Wayne Benson and Edgar Loudermilk, have just recently re-launched their fan club, and also a chat for their fans. The fan club, called "3 X Out and Moore" is free to join, and the chat is hosted on Yahoo! Groups.

For more information about the fan club, and all of the latest news on events, biographies and discographies, visit the band's website at www.IIIrdTymeOut.com.
