Is there anything better than a weekend stay at Ghost Ranch? YES, a weekend at the inaugural Bluegrass Music Camp at Ghost Ranch! Fine tune your bluegrass chops on six instruments, ensemble playing, harmony singing, performance and songwriting.

For four days, enjoy the magnificent scenery, learn new tips and tricks on your instrument, make friends and get a bluegrass band together and perform for the other campers. Saturday evening, May 22nd, we'll celebrate our time together with an open air concert and jam session and have a wrap-up session and awards party on Sunday morning.

Leadership for the Bluegrass Music Camp will be provided by Mike Finders and friends. Mike is a singer, songwriter, guitar-picker and professional educator transplanted to Colorado from the Midwest. He began playing solo guitar at 18, and has produced seven recording projects. His most recent project is the bluegrass/Americana band Finders and Youngberg. Their 2008 release, Keep Your Suitcase Packed was the fifth most-played CD on independent Colorado radio stations.

Mike will be joined by Aaron Youngberg, Erin Youngberg, Gregg Daigle, Sally Van Meter, Matt Flinner and Ryan Drickey to guide players through standard instrument techniques, including rhythm and lead playing. Additional instruction will be available in singing, harmony singing and songwriting.
