 News: 46th Grammy Awards for Bluegrass, Folk and Country

Sunday, February 8th was the 46th Grammy awards and Cybergrass has reduced the list of award winners to those of interest to our readers. We're happy to see the recognition in some areas that don't normally reflect the artists of the genre. Alison Krauss, Ricky Skaggs and others won awards this evening. Alison Krauss took home three Grammy awards for Best Bluegrass Album with 'Live', Best Country Instrumental Performance with 'Cluck Old Hen' and Best Country Collaboration With Vocals for 'How's The World Treating You.' Congratulations to all of them. The list of winners we're interested in follows. The Recording Academy web site has posted the complete winner list for those who may be interested. We do not include the complete list here.


Bluegrass legend Doc Watson was honored at the 46th GRAMMY Awards with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. Congratulations to Doc!!!
