The forum has more information on the case and for those of you that may have had money tied up in any of this, there is info on what to do as this invetigation expands to include the FBI and so on, as this is a multi-state as well as an international problem.

It all started when folks on the Jerry Douglas web site bulletin board publicly complained about a lack of communication from Matt Roe about the Fort Worth Bluegrass festival in Febuary, the Dobro calender that was supposed to benefit Josh Graves, the resonator Guitar magazine that folks claim they sent money in for, the Ashley Dobros that 'Matt Roe' took much money for up front but allegedly never delivered, money sent in from the resonator workshops that he canceled.

According to public records for the domain resonatorguitarist.com, the owner is Resonator Guitarist Publications and Monica Roe is the listed registrant for the domain. They are located in Grand Prairie, Texas. Resonator Guitarist Publications is also associated with BluegrassWorkshops.com and The ResoWorkshop. Both the www.resonatorguitarist.com and www.resoworkshop.com domains are no longer functioning.

Interstate theft and fraud are federal crimes and are investigated by the F.B.I. Anyone with information on this is encouraged to call your local F.B.I. office and report what you know.
