The label is also home to award-winning and nominated writer-artists, including Thile, now of The Punch Brothers, and Doyle Lawson, who has won four Grammys, four Dove Awards and multiple awards from the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) for Vocal Gospel Performer of the Year.

"Sugar Hill's Southern Melody Publishing Co. and Queen's Counsel Music developed a rich catalog of American roots music," Bug Music Senior Vice President Garry Velletri said. "Sugar Hill has done an amazing job in working with their writers, and we're proud to represent and find new opportunities across multiple platforms for their music."
