Russell Moore to Co-Host IBMA Awards Nominee Press Conference

Russell  MooreRussell Moore will be co-hosting the IBMA Awards Press Conference to be held on Wednesday, August 17th at the Loveless Barn in Nashville, Tennessee. During the event, the final nominees for the 2011 IBMA Awards as well as the inductees for the Bluegrass Hall of Fame will be announced. Joining Russell for co-hosting duties will be Doyle Lawson, Sierra Hull and Josh Williams. The IBMA Awards will take plac e on Thursday, September 29th at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville as part of the World of Bluegrass Conference. Russell is the reigning IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year having won the coveted honor in 2010.

After the press conference, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out will take part in a very special Music City Roots celebrating Bluegrass music. The concert takes place at the Loveless Barn beginning at 7:00pm CST and will also include performances by Doyle lawson & Quicksiilver, Sierra Hull and Highway 111 and the Josh Williams Band. The International Bluegrass Music Awards are voted on by the professional membership of the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA), which serves as the trade association for the bluegrass music industry. The IBMA Awards Show is the centerpiece of the World of Bluegrass week, including the industry's Business Conference and Bluegrass Fan Fest, which takes place September 26 – October 2 in Nashville.
