Nashville, TN -- Crossroads/Mountain Home bluegrass music recording artists, Darin and Brooke Aldridge, (www.darinandbrookealdridge.com), announce the November 20th release of their new album, Live at Red, White and Bluegrass.
Devoted bluegrass fans share a lifelong love affair with the genre; one that often begins with a live music experience at one of the many longstanding festivals nationwide. A live show is brimming with collaborative energy, spontaneity and a collection of “you just had to be there” moments. The “sweethearts of bluegrass” share their live show brilliantly on the new CD.
Recorded live at the 2012 Red, White and Bluegrass Festival in Morganton, N.C., the album captures the electricity and excitement that a live show so uniquely delivers. Both the power and intimacy of Darin and Brooke’s stellar performance shine through on a 12-track album that includes a pleasing mix of the group’s radio hits, gospel selections and new tunes that have heretofore been reserved for the band’s live audiences only.
From familiar songs like “Corn” to pleasant surprises like the Shania Twain hit, “No One Needs to Know,” the Aldridge’s and their top-notch band capture the excitement that, for once, you didn’t “have to be there” to enjoy. Mountain Home has captured this very special set for a lifetime of memories.
“We’re very proud of this project,” Darin says. “It was a fun show and the band absolutely came to entertain! Brooke and I are blessed to be surrounded by such fine players and so grateful to Mountain Home for making this live experience available to fans.”
