Nashville, TN -- Bluegrass vocalist and guitarist Bo Isaac released his new album, Dollar, last November. Joined on Dollar by his band of Rounders, Bo has created an album inspired by the combination of traditional Bluegrass instrumentation and overcoming emotional hardships we grapple with daily.
“The Rounders and I wanted to reach people to distract them from the unsettled and stressed life we have all become accustomed to,” Bo says. “We took our time to play songs that we felt.”
The Rounders are a rotating cast of players who accompany Bo in both recordings and live shows. Rounders featured on Dollar include Elmer Burchett, Randy Thomas, Buck White, Zach Rambo, Steve Thomas and Haley Burchett.
Dollar features 13 tracks, many penned by Elmer Burchett, that are dedicated to the universal experiences of love, loss and revival. The title track, a favorite of Bo and his Rounder friends, is an ode to the struggles we all feel in a stagnant economy, exemplifying the human spirit of Bluegrass and how music in general offers solace in times of need. Dollar will initially be available for pre-order exclusively through the band’s website, www.TheRounders.net.
Members of Rounders Nation, Bo’s fan community, will have first access to the album, with a worldwide digital release to be scheduled shortly after.
Bo Isaac is a seasoned Bluegrass performer who has been making music for more than 10 years. For more information on Bo Isaac and Dollar, please visit www.TheRounders.net
