Marty Raybon #1 In Bluegrass With Dirt Road Heartache

Marty RaybonNashville, TN -- Rural Rhythm Records is proud to announce that Marty Raybon’s song “Dirt Road Heartache”, written by Melissa Pierce and Jerry Salley, goes to the #1 position on the June Bluegrass Unlimited song chart. “Dirt Road Heartache” has been on the Bluegrass Unlimited song chart for eleven months and is from Marty’s Southern Roots & Branches album released on Rural Rhythm Records in April of 2012.

Grammy artist Marty Raybon has recorded numerous #1 Country singles with the group Shenandoah and #1 Country Gospel singles in his solo career. Now he can add a #1 Bluegrass single, “Dirt Road Heartache”, to his long list of recording achievements over his 40 year career. Back in April of this year, Marty took home 4 CGM (Christian Gospel Music) awards for Favorite Song, Male Vocalist, Musician & Crossover Artist.

Marty Raybon & Full Circle’s recently released single, “That Janie Baker”, from his new album The Back Forty, released on March 26, 2013 on Rural Rhythm Records, is moving up the charts very fast. “That Janie Baker” was #3 in May on the Sirius XM - Bluegrass Junction Most Played Tracks and #4 in May on the Bluegrass Today Top 20 Monthly Chart.
