The Grand Ole Opry® presented by Humana® is set to celebrate its 88th birthday on Oct. 4 & 5 with three weekend Opry shows in which country favorites will share the stage with the Opry’s birthday cake, plus a concert by Opry member Steve Wariner, backstage tours, free music in the Opry Plaza, and more.
Wariner will perform during a special Opry Birthday Concert at 3:00 p.m. Oct. 5. Following his performance, the Grammy®-winner is set to visit The Opry Shop from 4:15 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., signing his new CD It Ain’t All Bad.
The Plaza in front of the Opry House will be bustling with games, a silent auction featuring items from Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, and more with proceeds benefiting the Opry Trust Fun; food; and free musical performances throughout the day.
