Flatt Lonesome MACCThe 30th Annual Musicians Against Childhood Cancer (MACC) Bluegrass Classic will be held at Hoover Y-Park, Columbus, Ohio. The dates for the music festival are July 16 - 19, 2014. Proceeds from this festival will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Since the year 2000, MACC and you have donated $755,690.00 to St. Jude and the Y.M.C.A., helping children around the world. This year will be the 15th Year for Musicians Against Childhood Cancer. Adkins Productions and The Bluegrass Classic with the help of many musicians have founded Musicians Against Childhood Cancer, an annual charitable event to benefit children with life threatening illnesses.

The 2014 MACC lineup will feature award winning bluegrass artists Russell Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers, Blue Highway, The Grascals, Larry Sparks & The Lonesome Ramblers, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Lonesome River Band, Lou Reid & Carolina, Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice, Rarely Herd, Seldom Scene, Adkins & Loudermilk, Gibson Brothers, Lost & Found, Larry Cordle & Lonesome Standard Time, Breaking Grass, Feller & Hill, the MACC Childrens Band and a whole lot more. You definitely will hear more quality bluegrass in these four days than at almost any other festival. Besides, it all goes for a great cause too.

As you know, the producers Darrel & Phyllis Adkins have been promoting high quality concerts and festivals since 1980. These concerts formerly held at Frontier Ranch, and more recently Hoover Y-Park in Columbus, Ohio have drawn thousands of fans from all over the world. We plan to continue the tradition of quality family entertainment but with one major change, the proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. This year, 2014 will be the 15th year of Musicians Against Childhood Cancer.

Kelsi, Paul and Charli, of Flatt Lonesome, had the privilege of joining Darrel Adkins, of the Musicians Against Childhood Cancer Festival, along with Kyle Cantrell at the SiriusXM Studio to talk about the upcoming MACC Festival that is held each year in July!
