Tammy Jones Robinette & The DriveNashville, TN --Tammy Jones Robinette continues to gather momentum for the release of her upcoming album, Tammy Jones Robinette & The Drive, due out on Rural Rhythm Records this fall. Her preview single, "To Be a Kid Again," debuted at #10 on Bluegrass Today's Weekly Airplay Chart.

Because of the single's initial success, Tammy Jones Robinette & The Drive are pleased to announce the release of the complementary lyric video, "To Be A Kid Again," available to view, embed and share HERE or by clicking the graphic above. Robinette's well-timed release is a celebratory, yet wistful reflection of the carefree, seemingly-endless summer play days of childhood and a fond farewell, for all of us, to another season. "Being a new face in Bluegrass, I feel incredibly blessed to receive the outpouring of support by radio and fans," gushed Robinette. '"To Be a Kid Again,' is really a bit of an anthem for the summers of long ago. It was a simpler time...you know, back before iPads and Xboxes, and before we knew the benefit of sunscreen," she laughs. "I wanted to capture that wonderful experience and celebrate it, and I think it's really resonating with people."

While Tammy Jones Robinette is fairly new to Bluegrass circles, she is not new to the world of music. Last year, Robinette celebrated two consecutive Southern Gospel #1s as a songwriter and was named "Favorite Female Vocalist" at the Gospel Music Fan Awards. Despite her Gospel success, Robinette has felt driven by her muse to cultivate her Bluegrass roots planted so many years ago in her Kentucky upbringing. Her hope is that it will lead her Gospel fans to find a mutual love for Bluegrass music.

Tammy's Bluegrass debut album, Let It Shine, produced by GRAMMY award-winning bass player Mark Fain of Ricky Skagg's Kentucky Thunder, was warmly received by Bluegrass and Gospel critics alike. "To Be a Kid Again" is the first single released off of her upcoming sophomore album, Tammy Jones Robinette & The Drive, also produced by Fain.

he top-10 single comes as Tammy Jones Robinette and her super-picker band, The Drive are also preparing for their appearance at IBMA's World of Bluegrass in Raleigh, North Carolina. The post-awards showcase will be held October 1 at the Marriott City Center (main floor stage) at 11 P.M. Eastern. Tammy Jones Robinette & The Drive will premiere songs from the upcoming, self-titled album at the conference. For more information on the IBMA's World of Bluegrass, please visit www.IBMA.org.
