2015 High Mountain Hay Fever Bluegrass Festival Lineup Announced

Joe Mullins & The Radio RamblersMusic will ring out across the Wet Mountain Valley at the 13th annual High Mountain Hay Fever Bluegrass Festival this July in the heart of the Rockies. Join us as Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers, Lou Reid and Carolina, Chris Jones and the Night Drivers, Darol Anger and the Furies, The Hillbenders, Eddie and Martha Adcock with Tom Gray, Dan Crary, Steve Spurgin, and Bill Evans, Jim Gaudet and the Railroad Boys, The Price Sisters, Art Stevenson and High Water and many other top-notch bluegrass performers converge on Westcliffe, Colorado, for four days of music benefitting non-profit organizations in our community. Come enjoy stunning views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the youth music program, the camaraderie of on-site camping and pickin’, in addition to the full roster of exciting bluegrass performers. The 13th annual festival dates are Thursday through Sunday, July 9 - 12, 2015.

Chris Jones and the Night DriversCharlottesville, VA)—Rebel Records is pleased to announce the release of a new bluegrass music collection from Chris Jones & the Night Drivers, Lost Souls & Free Spirits: The Rebel Collection Old & New, on February 28th. Featuring 14 songs hand-picked by Chris himself, the CD is mostly drawn from three albums Chris recorded for Rebel between 1997 and 2000 -- No One But You (1997), Follow Your Heart (1998) and Just a Drifter (2000). The project also includes three cuts from his 2009 self-released album, Cloud of Dust, along with three brand new recordings that, like Cloud of Dust, feature his current line-up of the Night Drivers: Ned Luberecki on banjo, Mark Stoffel on mandolin and Jon Weisberger on bass.
