Top Artists to Play All-Bluegrass Show at Music City Roots Aug 12

The all-bluegrass show will follow a day of award nomination announcements for the 26th Annual International Bluegrass Music Awards, which take place Thursday, October 1 in Raleigh, North Carolina during World of Bluegrass week. Foundation For Bluegrass Music Fundraiser Follows Awards Show

The Bluegrass Awards Show is the grand finale of the annual convention, World of Bluegrass. The Awards show is attended by bluegrass artists, professionals, and yes, fans. This year, the IBMA again has selected a host from outside the Bluegrass community. As in years past when they have done this, bluegrassers always ask the question: "Why?" Why don't we promote our own artists for this event?

23rd IBMA Awards ShowCybergrass will be webcasting the 2012 23rd International Bluegrass Music Awards Show this week on their award winning web site. This will be the 17th consecutive year that Cybergrass has webcast this outstanding program. Many fans of the music who wanted to listen to the awards show could access the live streamcasts of the show. Many other fans around the world could not attend the program in person. Cybergrass will have the 23rd International Bluegrass Music Awards online this week beginning Monday, October 15. The awards show was recorded live on September 27, 2012 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.
