In February, it moves up to the #9 spot on Bluegrass Unlimited's Top 15 Albums chart and the first single, "Bottom Of A Mountain" moves up to #17 on the Top 30 Songs chart! In other chart news, "Bottom Of A Mountain" is #4 on SiriusXM Bluegrass Junction's Most Played Tracks and the CD is #8 on the Most Played Albums chart.

Released October 2012, the project debuted this month on Bluegrass Unlimited's Top 15 Albums chart at #13. The CD's first single, "Bottom Of A Mountain" has been very well received by radio programmers and is #1 on the current Bluegrass Today Monthly Airplay chart. The song also moves up 6 spots to #24 on Bluegrass Unlimited's National bluegrass Survey Top 30 Songs chart. In addition to receiving a glowing review in the January issue of Bluegrass Unlimited, They're Playing My Song has also made its way onto several "Best of 2012" lists including Top KBCS Releases of 2012 (Bluegrass Ramble with Tom Voorhees and Tom Keeney) and WHUS "Bluegrass Cafe" with Amy Orlomoski.

Released in mid-October, They're Playing My Song has received much critical acclaim and has produced several tracks finding their way onto bluegrass charts including the first single, "Bottom Of The Mountain" which was #3 on the Bluegrass Today Top 20 Songs chart (week of 11/16) and #7 on SiriusXM Bluegrass Junction's Most Played Tracks (November 2012). Joe Mullins, Rhonda Vincent and Bill BreezeAward winning bluegrass music group Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers had a marvelous Veteran's weekend hosting the twice annual Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival at the Roberts Centre in Wilmington, OH. Since 2003, Joe and his family, along with the staff of his radio network, and many regional and national sponsors present top Bluegrass talent at one of Ohio's most comfortable convention centers. Friday and Saturday, November 9th and 10th, the show included The Gibson Brothers, Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice, Rhonda Vincent & The Rage and more. For Joe and his family, the highlight of the weekend was a successful fundraiser in memory of Prudence Mullins, Joe's Mom, who passed away just two weeks before the festival. Janet Davis Acoustic Music partnerrf with Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers for the Breast Cancer Fund benefit.

Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival is Special for Joe Mullins

This year's fall festival will take on a special meaning for Joe Mullins. Janet Davis Acoustic Music and the Radio Ramblers will be working together at the festival to benefit breast cancer support. Joe's Mom, Prudence Mullins, passed away just over a week ago after battling breast cancer and Janet Davis Acoustic Music has donated a Martin guitar to be given away in an effort to raise funds for breast cancer research in her memory. Proceeds will benefit the Ohio area Breast Cancer fund. "I am certainly grateful for all the prayers and support from the Bluegrass community, and the help from our supply sponsor, Janet Davis Acoustic Music will have lasting benefits", stated Joe.
