The series includes six shows beginning February 17 and running through April 28. This season’s lineup includes award-winning and nationally recognized artists. The series kicks-off February 17 with Lexington, KY based group, The Wooks, who will also make their first ROMP festival debut this June.

Owensboro, KY -- The International Bluegrass Music Museum has annouced their fall benefit concert schedule. Money raised from this concert series help the museum continue our efforts to preserve and honor the legacy of bluegrass music including music educational programs, general museum operating expenses, the Video Oral History Project (VOHP) and artifact collection efforts. Season passes available for $104 beginning Wednesday August 24 at 10 am CST; passes include one ticket to each show in the series. If series tickets do not sell out, individual show tickets will be available within the coming weeks.

Owensboro, KY -- Together with the City of Owensboro, Mayor Ron Payne, the Daviess County Fiscal Court and Judge Executive Al Mattingly, the International Bluegrass Music Museum and Hall of Fame is set to break ground on a new $15.4 million facility Thursday June 23 at Noon at 311 West 2nd Street, Owensboro. This fully funded project is a collaboration between the City of Owensboro, the State of Kentucky and the IBMM.

Merry Christmas from everyone at the International Bluegrass Music Museum! As many of you know, I am the new guy and this year has been all about change and adjustment for me and my family. In addition to learning the ropes in a new job, my daughters are adjusting to life as college students, my wife is transitioning from her job of almost 12 years, we are selling our home in Nashville and settling in as new residents of Owensboro, Kentucky. Many of you have navigated similar waters at some point in your life. As one might imagine, this has resulted in a mixture of excitement and joy along with a touch of hand wringing about embracing so much change. Fortunately for me, joy and excitement about the future has far outpaced everything else as 2016 quickly approaches.
