Hot and Energetic Bluegrass Music Bands Converge in Rollo Bay, PEI

GrasstowneA combination of some of the hottest and most energetic Bluegrass bands are coming to Prince Edward Island (PEI) in Eastern Canada - July 6 – 8, 2012. Grasstowne from South Carolina has two recording projects on the US National Bluegrass Charts. Their latest currently in the top 5 on the singles and CD chart and rising. Four of the finest young musicians in bluegrass today make up this dynamic band, one of the hottest and energetic bands touring today. Alan Bibey has made a name for himself as one of the most creative and technically gifted mandolin players in bluegrass and acoustic music. Guitarist Dustin Pyrtle comes from a musical family and area rich in bluegrass tradition. He started playing bluegrass at the age of 8 and is very accomplished on guitar and bass. Justin Jenkins has been playing music since the age of six. His first professional gig was at the age of twelve when he was asked to become a regular member of the Renfro Valley Barn Dance. Kameron Keller is a tremendous young musician playing bass with Grasstowne. Adam Haynes is the resident fiddler and sings baritone and bass.
