Skaggs Family Christmas 2012Country and Bluegrass music legend Ricky Skaggs will headline the 15th Annual Concert for Cumberland Heights with acclaimed trio The Whites, which includes his wife Sharon, sister-in-law Cheryl, and father-in-law Buck White. The evening will be a holiday-themed, variety-style show titled “A Skaggs Family Christmas,” featuring both holiday classics and new Christmas music from the celebrated musical clan and bringing together the love of family and the beauty of song for a great cause. The evening's special guests include Steven Curtis Chapman and Emmylou Harris.

Marty Stuart To Celebrate 20-Year Anniversary as Grand Ole Opry Member

Conor Mulroy is WERU's Featured Artist For the Week of December 3

Joe Mullins and The Radio Ramblers Join Janet Davis to Benefit Breast Cancer Fund

Joe Mullins, Rhonda Vincent and Bill BreezeAward winning bluegrass music group Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers had a marvelous Veteran's weekend hosting the twice annual Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival at the Roberts Centre in Wilmington, OH. Since 2003, Joe and his family, along with the staff of his radio network, and many regional and national sponsors present top Bluegrass talent at one of Ohio's most comfortable convention centers. Friday and Saturday, November 9th and 10th, the show included The Gibson Brothers, Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice, Rhonda Vincent & The Rage and more. For Joe and his family, the highlight of the weekend was a successful fundraiser in memory of Prudence Mullins, Joe's Mom, who passed away just two weeks before the festival. Janet Davis Acoustic Music partnerrf with Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers for the Breast Cancer Fund benefit.
