American Drive Releases a New Spin on Abe Lincoln Favorite

American DriveNashville, TN -- Rural Rhythm Records is proud to announce the May 6 release of American Drive’s new single “For The Dear Old Flag, I Die”. This song has a timely element surrounding its release due to the multitude of American Civil War 150 Year Anniversary events that have been going on over the past several years which will culminate in 2015.

American Drive Announces New Band Members

American DriveRural Rhythm recording artist American Drive is happy to announce their two newest members. Joining the bluegrass music group will be Adam McIntosh on guitar, while Shayne Bartley assumes the banjo duties.

Band Changes for American Drive, Auditions Open

Today comes the announcement that two of their members, guitarist Rickey Wasson and banjo picker Josh Hymer have departed the group. As you may recall, this band was formed when JD Crowe's former New South members continued on under a new name after JD retired from a full time performance slate.

The band includes the talents of: Rickey Wasson (Lead/harmony Vocals, Guitar), Dwight McCall (Lead/Harmony Vocals, Mandolin), Matt DeSpain (Resonator Guitar) and Kyle Perkins (Bass) all from The New South who are joined by Josh Hymer (Banjo).

Crowe & The New South who are carrying on now that J.D. Crowe has announced his retirement. American Drive includes the talents of: Rickey Wasson (Lead/harmony Vocals, Guitar), Dwight McCall (Lead/Harmony Vocals, Mandolin), Matt DeSpain (Resonator Guitar) and Kyle Perkins (Bass) from The New South, who are joined by Justin Jenkins (Banjo) formerly with the bands Grasstowne and Blue Moon Rising.
