Nu-Blu Unveils “Vagabonds” with CD Release Concert

VagabondsJoin Nu-Blu at the Earl Scruggs Center to celebrate the release of Nu-Blu's latest project Vagabonds. The album will serve as the award winning band’s sixth studio album, and is set for release on April 28. The album is fueled by the latest lead single, “Still Small Voice” featuring Country Music Hall of Fame Statler Brothers member Jimmy Fortune. The CD Release event takes place Saturdasy, April 22nd from 4 to 7 pm at the Earl Scruggs Center located at 103 S. Lafayette St. in Shelby, North Carolina. Ticckets are just $15 for General Admission. Exhibits open for Nu-Blu Release guests at 4 pm and will be followed by a 4:30 Meet & Greet with CD signing by the band. A concert follows the signing. This event will be a great chance to get up close and personal with the band as they perform and give retrospect of some of their fan favorites as well as new songs on the new album. While at the meet and greet, check out the 1944 Martin D-28 Dreadnought guitar owned and used in performance and recordings by Lester Flatt and Keith Whitley and hear it played by Nu-Blu during their performance! Ray Cardwell's Tennessee Moon Available Friday the 13th

Tennessee MoonNashville, TN - Bluegrass soul vocalist/bassist Ray Cardwell's debut album Tennessee Moon will be available this Friday, January 13th. The first single from the album, title track "Tennessee Moon", is currently at #7 on The Roots Music Report’s Top 50 Bluegrass Song Chart and the album was included in RMR’s Top Bluegrass Albums for 2016 as well—an impressive accomplishment for an album yet to be released. The single debuted at #15 and rose to #10 on the Bluegrass Today singles chart in November 2016 with the advance release of his title cut to radio.

Molsky's Mountain DrifterIntroducing Bruce Molsky's brand new trio, Molsky's Mountain Drifters, with Allison de Groot and Stash Wyslouch - Tradition steeped in possibility. Bruce Molsky, "one of America's premier fiddling talents" (Mother Jones) and Grammy-nominated artist on fiddle, banjo, guitar and song is delighted to present his new group already on tour in the US. Bruce's previous collaborations, with Anonymous 4, 1865 – Songs of Hope and Home from the American Civil War, was released to rave reviews and was on the top 10 Billboard charts for weeks. Bruce is also Berklee College of Music's Visiting Scholar in the American Roots Program.

Tim White CD Release Party at ACMA Pickin Porch Aug 3rd

King of the Left-Hand LaneBristol, TN/VA -- The ACMA Pickin Porch will be the site of a CD release party on Monday, August 3rd. Tim White invites everyone to attend his release of the Heartland Recording Label's King of the Left-Hand Lane CD. The recording was produced in Bristol, TN at Ray Dearstone's Heartland Recording Studios and includes Tim's original song which is the title cut "King of the Left-Hand Lane". There are eighteen cuts in all on the project which includes several bluegrass standards as well as four Tim White originals.
