This Able Veteran program is the focus on the song "Found" by The Bankesters. In the video below, the band talks about the program and the song.

Bankesters Capture Best Bluegrass Album Award

The BankestersOne of the fastest rising bluegrass artists, The Bankesters, captured the Best Bluegrass Album for their Love Has Wheels release at the 13th annual Independent Music Awards. The award comes on the heels of significant radio activity for the new album. The Bankesters Find Harmony in Bluegrass and Family

In 2012, Emily Bankester was awarded the first International Bluegrass Music Association Momentum Award for Vocalist of the Year.

The Bankesters Working with Alison Brown on Fall 2013 Release

The BankestersNashville, TN -- Bluegrass band The Bankesters have started recording tracks for their fifth album, and their Compass Records debut, scheduled for release in the fall. The new album is being produced by Compass co-founder Alison Brown and, together with the band, they have completed several weeks of pre-production with a great set of new material. The songs will showcase their signature family harmonies and the distinctive lead voices of each of the Bankester daughters, including 2012 IBMA Momentum Award winner Emily Bankester.

Compass Records Signs Bluegrass Band The Bankesters

The BankestersNashville, TN -- Compass Records is excited to announce that The Bankesters have joined its roster of bluegrass artists. Phil and Dorene Bankester and their three daughters and son-in-law are known for some of the finest harmony singing in bluegrass music. They are currently at work gathering material for a new album to be produced by Alison Brown and tentatively slated for a fall 2013 release. In the meantime, Compass will be re-releasing the band’s latest album Looking Forward on May 28th for international distribution.
