Tennessee Mafia Jug BandThe Uncle Dave Macon Days Trailblazer Award is presented to an artist, musician, or individual who have developed old-time musical performance styles and techniques that blaze the trail for others to perpetuate, emulate, refine, and follow into contemporary genres.This year’s Trailblazer Award winners are Leroy Troy, Roland White, and The Tennessee Mafia Jug Band, collectively. The award recipients were recognized on stage Friday night, July 11th.

Leroy Troy Kicks Off New Tour Dates, Web Site and More

Leroy TroyLeroy Troy is super excited to announce that he now has an assistant and booking agent! Danny "Hootenanny" Clark of Hootenanny Publicity. Danny helped create the new web site and, as Leroy says, "is responsible for keeping me on track! Danny also handles all of my social media and wants you to know that you can now "like" me on Facebook and "follow" me on Twitter." With all that news, Leroy also has new tour dates booked, merchandise and more.

Historic Jonesborough Bluegrass Series Conntinues July 13

Mountain DriveThe Historic Jonesborough Bluegrass Series' 2013 season will continue on July 13 with some of the top names in bluegrass music with performances by Mountain Drive, Jerry Butler and the Blu-Js and Leroy Troy. The Rigney's, Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice and the Lonesome River Band will play on October 19. Doors open at 6 p.m. and shows start at 7 p.m.
