This latest recognition comes after the festival received the cities of Bristol Mayors' Award of Distinction in April and several Southeast Festival & Events Association Kaleidoscope Awards, including "Best Festival", in February. The Pinnacle awards were sponsored by Bristol Motor Speedway and held at the Carnegie Hotel in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion 13th PosterBristol, TN/VA Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion announced a special partnership with BVU Authority (Bristol, VA Utilities) and BTES (Bristol, TN Esseutial Services) at today’s press conference. This partnership includes providing improved digital connectivity for 2013 festival goers. BVU and BTES have volunteered to connect a total of eight stages, split between the two states, for live public video streaming by ETSU Online and Heritage TV during the three-day event. Some live footage will be recorded by Heritage TV, BVU’s local access channel, and will also be aired after the festival on OptiNet channel 3.

Most recently, Lynch was awarded one of the 50 USA Fellowships from United States Artists (USA). Mumford's Gentlemen of the Road Economic Impact Study Revealed

Gentlemen On The Road TourBristol, TN/VA -- August 11, 2012 will go down in history as the day British folk rockers Mumford & Sons invaded Historic Downtown Bristol, Tennessee and Virginia with their Gentlemen of the Road Tour--and brought 17,500 music fans with them. Gentlemen of the Road Tour made four stops in the United States, and Bristol was the only Stopover in the southeast. Now we know the full benefit of such an event to our community in the way of tax revenue to the Bristol region.
