Dixie Hall to be Honored at Country Music Hall of Fame

Dixie HallNashville, TN -- The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum will honor the memory of bluegrass stalwart Dixie Hall at the ninth annual Louise Scruggs Memorial Forum on Wednesday, November 19, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. in the Ford Theater. This cheerful and joyous celebration of Hall’s life and music will include never-before-seen photographs, interviews with colleagues and live performances of songs written by the bluegrass and country music songwriter, journalist, and label head. Guests will include Sierra Hull, Rita Forrester (granddaughter of A. P. and Sara Carter), Carl Jackson, Chris Jones and Heather Berry-Mabe, among others. Hall is the first posthumous subject of the Louise Scruggs Memorial Forum.

Jo Walker-Meador to be Honored in Louise Scruggs Memorial Forum

Jo Walker-MeadorNashville, TN -- To honor the memory of a Bluegrass Hall of Fame icon, the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum will present an interview with longtime CMA Executive Director Jo Walker-Meador in the eighth annual Louise Scruggs Memorial Forum on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at 6 p.m. in the Ford Theater. A reception will follow the program.

Kay Clary to Be Honored at 7th Louise Scruggs Memorial Forum

Kay ClaryNashville, TN -- To honor the memory of a Bluegrass Hall of Fame icon, the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum will present an interview with music industry veteran Kay Clary at the seventh annual Louise Scruggs Memorial Forum on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at 6 p.m. in the Ford Theater. A reception will follow the program.

Sarah Trahern to be Honored at Fifth Annual Louise Scruggs Memorial Forum

Sarah TrahernNashville, TN -- To honor the memory of a Bluegrass Hall of Fame icon, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum will present an interview with Great American Country (GAC) executive Sarah Trahern at the fifth annual Louise Scruggs Memorial Forum on Monday, December 12, 2011, at 6 p.m. in the Ford Theater. A reception will follow the program. The program is open to the public, and admission is free.
