The Abrams Brothers Announce Tour to Support Newest Album

Northern RedemptionIndependent record label, United For Opportunity is proud to announce the U.S. debut of the 2012 Canadian Country Music Awards' Best New Artist, The Abrams Brothers. This honor comes on the heels of a summer tour with multiple CCMA winner Dean Brody. The bluegrass/folk-rock/country trio are set for an extensive fall tour in the States beginning the end of the month to coincide with the September 25th U.S. release of their latest album Northern Redemption.

Ireland's I Draw Slow Begins USA Tour September 22nd in Asheville, NC

I Draw Slow brings their talents in songwriting and musicianship to a Fall Tour that will place them with many great artists in some of America’s top venues over a several weeks outing sharing the stage with some of the best in Americana and Roots Music. George Jones Alive and Touring Through the Fall

After performing two successful shows this weekend, Jones is scheduled to appear on average six to eight more shows each month continuing into 2013. In August, George Jones announced what will be his 2013 farewell tour for his fans, titled "The Grand Tour". He decided he is ready to slow down after next year to spend more time with family.

Jones celebrated his 80th Birthday at the Grand Ole Opry last year.

The tour concluded recently with three headlining SCI sets at Horning's Hideout, a festival in North Plains, OR that the group founded over a decade ago and sold out in only 20 minutes this year. Carrie HasslerSeven Mountains Bluegrass Association has announced the first concert of 2012 with acclaimed vocalist Carrie Hassler along with award-winning bluegrass band, Brand New Strings will perform Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 7:00 pm. The event will be held at the Goodwill Fire Company in York, PA, located at 2318 S. Queen Street in the Spry area. The doors open at 5:30 pm. The kitchen will be open and operated by the Goodwill Volunteer fire fighters and Auxiliary members. This is a family, smoke free and no alcohol event. The cost is $13.00 for SMBA members and $16.00 for non-members. Children under 12 are free. Annual membership fee is $12.00 per family and can be paid at the show.
